Thank you for joining the cast of Holiday Inc. We are excited to work with your children and expose them to the world of Musical Theatre!
We begin each rehearsal with dance and movement. Then we go right into music and staging.
Sign In and First Day:
When you arrive to rehearsal students are to sign their initials by their name on the sign in sheet. On the first day parents are to confirm their contact number(s), size of shirt is correct, and list any and all conflicts with Kristin. Conflicts may effect casting. You will receive a rehearsal/performance date hand out the evening of October 6th. It is all listed on the web site as well along with Character breakdown, songs etc. www.bigcitybroadway.org Jingles Details
Here are a few real show biz tips on the audition process:
-Be sure you have your sides and song prepared. Get familiar with the material you do not have to memorize you may hold your script.
-You will be scored on the following - Movement, Acting, Singing, and Behavior (how you treat fellow actors and behave while waiting for your turn to audition, and yes a real audition monitor reports your attitude and behavior to Casting agents in the industry). A total score will be taken for each student on all 4 discipline’s. Your score and conflicts will determine how we cast the roles.
- Final Cast list will be e-mailed to all performers on or before October 10th we will finalize as soon as possible!
